Who is StarSmirk?

My name is JP, and I’m a 25 year old flight attendant based in Houston. I’ve dabbled in a few career paths so far, working as a photographer, assistant, educator, and bartender.

Aviation was, like most things, never in my game plan. It does, however, give me plenty of time to dedicate to my observations and musings and scribblings. Despite my degree I’m a devout student of the school of life, and I suppose graduating isn’t quite the goal there.

While I don’t quite have my life figured out yet (and really, who does?), I am dedicated to various personal creative projects including creative writing, poetry, sewing, making art and photography.

This blog is my shout into the void, under the guise of a funky little celestial he/they persona. Why does the star smirk? Maybe he too knows he’ll die someday. He may as well be an attention whore while he’s at it.
